Nykyisiss\u00e4 korkean verenpaineen hoito-ohjeissa korostetaan <strong>ruokailutottumuksen muuttamisen merkityst\u00e4<\/strong> l\u00e4\u00e4kehoitoa t\u00e4ydent\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4n\u00e4 strategiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yksi tehokkaimmista ruokavaliostrategioista on noudattaa V\u00e4limeren ruokavaliota<\/strong>, jonka hy\u00f6dyt verenpaineen alentamisessa sek\u00e4 syd\u00e4n- ja verisuoniterveyden edist\u00e4misess\u00e4 on tunnustettu laajalti. Uusien kliinisten tutkimusten mukaan V\u00e4limeren ruokavalion on osoitettu v\u00e4hent\u00e4v\u00e4n tehokkaasti systolista verenpainetta. V\u00e4limeren ruokavaliota johdonmukaisesti noudattaneilla oli <strong>47 % alhaisempi korkean verenpaineen riski 20 vuoden aikana<\/strong> kuin heill\u00e4, jotka eiv\u00e4t noudattaneet ruokavaliota yht\u00e4 tarkasti.<a href=\"#_edn2\" id=\"_ednref2\">[2]<\/a> Tutkimustulokset vahvistavat ja korostavat yleisesti, ett\u00e4 pienill\u00e4kin ruokailutottumusten muutoksilla kohti V\u00e4limeren ruokavaliota voisi olla merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 etuja terveydelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yksi keskeisist\u00e4 mekanismeista, joiden kautta V\u00e4limeren ruokavaliolla on positiivinen vaikutus verenpaineeseen, on <strong>kaliumin saannin lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyminen<\/strong>.
