Vaikka n\u00e4m\u00e4 elintarvikkeet voivat olla k\u00e4tevi\u00e4 ja houkuttelevia, ne aiheuttavat merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 terveysriskej\u00e4 erityisesti silloin, kun niit\u00e4 k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e4limeren ruokavaliossa runsaasti sokeria, rasvaa ja suolaa sis\u00e4lt\u00e4vien elintarvikkeiden kulutusta <strong>rajoitetaan<\/strong>. <strong>Perinteinen kreikkalainen V\u00e4limeren ruokavalio perustuu luonnollisiin (minimaalisesti prosessoituihin) ja ravitseviin elintarvikkeisiin<\/strong>, kuten hedelmiin, vihanneksiin, palkokasveihin, t\u00e4ysjyviin, kalaan, p\u00e4hkin\u00f6ihin ja oliivi\u00f6ljyyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyypillisi\u00e4 esimerkkej\u00e4 t\u00e4llaisista elintarvikkeista ovat <strong>pikaruoka, valmisateriat<\/strong> ja <strong>pakasteateriat<\/strong>, kuten pizza ja ranskalaiset perunat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00e4h\u00e4n luokkaan kuuluvat my\u00f6s makeat ja suolaiset pakatut v\u00e4lipalat, kuten kakut, keksit, croissantit, massavalmistettu pakattu leip\u00e4, suolakeksit, perunalastut, lihajalosteet (kuivatut lihat) sek\u00e4 virvoitusjuomat ja mehupakkaukset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N\u00e4m\u00e4 ovat yleens\u00e4 ultraprosessoituja ruokia<\/strong> (ja juomia), joilla <strong>ei ole yht\u00e4 hyvi\u00e4 ravintoarvoja<\/strong> kuin tuoreilla ja luonnollisilla elintarvikkeilla, joihin kreikkalainen V\u00e4limeren ruokavalio perustuu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yh\u00e4 useammat tutkimukset ovat osoittaneet, ett\u00e4 <strong>ultraprosessoitujen ruokien k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n liittyy lis\u00e4\u00e4ntynyt riski sairastua kroonisiin sairauksiin<\/strong>, kuten lihavuuteen, tyypin 2 diabetekseen sek\u00e4 syd\u00e4n- ja verisuonitauteihin. T\u00e4llaisten elintarvikkeiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 vaikuttaa haitallisesti my\u00f6s mielenterveyteen, koska niihin <strong>liittyy lis\u00e4\u00e4ntynyt riski sairastua mielenterveysh\u00e4iri\u00f6\u00f6n<\/strong>, kuten stressiin ja masennukseen.<a href=\"#_edn1\" id=\"_ednref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultraprosessoituihin elintarvikkeisiin liitetyt kielteiset terveysvaikutukset <strong>eiv\u00e4t johdu v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00e4 vain niiden ravitsemuksellisesta koostumuksesta ja energiatiheydest\u00e4<\/strong>, vaan my\u00f6s niiden prosessointiasteeseen liittyvist\u00e4 fysikaalisista ja kemiallisista ominaisuuksista.
